How Can I Become a Christian?

Receiving God’s peace is as simple as ABC!

 

A - ADMIT that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
“Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s standard” (Romans 3:23).

So, you must agree with God that you are a sinner.  John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

 

B - BELIEVE that Jesus is the only Savior.   
Jesus Himself said “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one gets to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is only one who can save you from your sin and that is Jesus. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life."   The Apostle Paul once said to a jailer "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31)

 

 

C - CONFESS that Jesus is Lord of all and submit control of your life to Him.

The Bible says "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Romans 10:9, 10 ESV). Place your faith in Him alone then, with God’s help live a new life with Him in the driver’s seat. You are a new person with a fresh new outlook on life! Ask Him to help you see this world the way He sees it. “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

 

 

Would you like Jesus to come into your life right now?

You might pray something like this...

 

“God, I am sorry for my sin. But I thank you for sending your son, Jesus to die for me and pay the price for my sin. I turn from it now and turn to you by faith. Come into my life and forgive me. I want to glorify You from this time forward. Thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.”
