Ricky Happ

This is Ricky; he loves dessert.

Ricky joined our staff and church in August 2020. He was born in Ohio, grew up in South Carolina, and lived in Washington State for 10 years, then in Oregon for 11 years. Moving around this much has given him the joy of many opportunities to retell his favorite stories. :)

Ricky and his wife Ruth have four children. After 26 years of working in retail and managing stores, Ricky served as a church and IT administrator in Aloha, Oregon, for five years. He comes to us with a Christ-centered passion to relieve the burdens of those in ministry so they can more effectively do the work they've been called to do. He loves to improve systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and people-oriented service over "product." Besides Ricky's part-time work as SAHCC's Church Administrator, he and Ruth are working as domestic missionaries with Novo Missions, Inc. and the ACTIVATE(D) team.
